Seeking
Artwork for 2009 Sturgis Falls Theme |
The
Board of Directors of the Sturgis Falls Celebration has selected
the theme, “Dancing
in the Streets" to mark the
2009 Sturgis Falls Celebration
to be held June 26-28/09.
Original
artwork is currently being accepted for the theme design.
Each artist may submit more than one design. To qualify, designs need to meet the following guidelines:
artwork must be produced using conventional media or
desktop publishing software; artwork must be 5” x 7” or
larger; artwork must reflect the 2009 theme, “Hometown
Heroes" must include the Sturgis Falls tree logo, the
Celebration dates (6/26-28/09), Cedar Falls, Iowa and finally, the artwork must be original and
exclusive.
Artwork will become
the property of the Sturgis Falls Celebration Committee.
An honorarium of $400 will be awarded to the artist whose
design is selected to promote the 2009 Celebration.
The selected artwork will be featured on all promotional
material for the Sturgis Falls Celebration, including, but not
limited to, programs, posters, billboards, and shirts.
The
Sturgis Falls Celebration Committee will accept artwork until
October 31, 2008. Artists
may mail or deliver their entries by the
October 31 deadline.
